So, I've got a blog . . . Now what?

Everyone seems to be jumping on the blog bandwagon so I thought I'd give it a go as well. Haven't really got a clue what I'm going to talk about, but that's never really stopped me from saying something, so . . .

Assassin's Apprentice

by Robin Hobb

Assassin's Apprentice I actually finished the book on my birthday but life (and a little bit of laziness) conspired to keep me from saying so until today. I bought all nine books - yes, all three trilogies - based on the strength of the story Homecoming in Legends II : New Short Novels by the Masters of Modern Fantasy. I was very impressed with the writing style and the tone of that story, and I can honestly say I was also pleased with Assassin's Apprentice. I can understand why everyone I know who has read the three trilogies can recommend them so vociferously. If the rest of the books are as easy to read and as enjoyable, then I consider their purchase a king's ransom well spent.
